Older Adult Independent Living Awards 2008 Inaugural Older Adult Independent Living Awards Ceremony Thursday, July 31, 2008 Cleveland Botanical Garden 11030 East Blvd., Cleveland, Ohio Created in 2008, the Older Adult Independent Living Awards were designed by WRAAA, to recognize those in our community who help make a difference for older adults with disabilities by supporting independent living. Nominations are accepted for individuals, organizations or businesses that help frail and impaired older adults maintain their independence. Nominees exhibit passion, commitment and support for the WRAAA Mission to empower and support older adults to maintain wellness, independence and dignity. Everyone is welcome to attend the ceremony on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at the Cleveland Botanical Garden when nominees and recipients will be honored for their contributions.
