Alzheimer's Respite Program Services The purpose of the Alzheimer’s Respite program services must be provided to an individual with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia who has a family caregiver. The term ‘family caregiver’ means an adult family member who is an informal, unpaid provider of in-home care to an individual of any age with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. 2011 Alzheimer’s Respite Services
