Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program
The Ohio Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program helps older Ohioans enjoy locally grown fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and honey. You are eligible for the Ohio Senior Farmers’ Market program if you are 60 years of age or older with an annual household income of:
- one person = $20, 147 or less
- two people = $27, 214 or less
- three people = $34,281 or less
To enroll contact the distribution site serving your community on or about June 1st to complete an application. If your application is accepted then coupons will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis – while coupons are available. We encourage all participants who receive coupons to be sure to use ALL the coupons by October 31, 2011. Participants receive $50.00 worth of coupons for the growing season.
The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program is supported by Federal funds from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Ohio Department of Aging, and the Western Reserve Area Agency Aging.
